How could I have gone this long without talking about one of America’s most revered actors, Wilford Brimley. I mean, there is just so much to say about the guy. He has diabetes and he likes oats, oh, and I think he was in a few movies too. You know I wonder if this guy is a Mormon, being born in Utah and all. They say Hollywood changes people, but Wilford is much too strong of a man to be fooled by all of the drugs and money. He is a simple man, living a simple life. I am just glad that Liberty Medical delivers his supplies to his house in discreet packaging; otherwise he might have a hard time riding his horse to town in the middle of a diabetic fit.
I actually have a friend who has an autographed photo of Willy on his fridge. They met him at a campground a few years ago while he was on tour demonstrating the new Winnebago lineup. What a guy, taking time out of his busy life to drive around in a RV and sign photos. I am willing to bet that when he dies, someone will make him a saint.
