159 years ago, the Mexican-American war came to an end with the signing of the treaty of Hidalgo. After which we paid (We won this war then paid for land?) Mexico nearly $300,000,000 (adjusted for inflation) for the present-day states of California, Nevada, and Utah, portions of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming. That’s a pretty good deal for Cali and Nevada but Utah? Wonder if we can return that one.

Hey man, whats your beef with Utah? Isn’t Utah the state where bars never close?

They never close because they never open.
