kramer-baretta-vh.jpgI know at least a couple of you will appreciate this, for the rest of you piss off. Van Halen makes it to the Rock and Roll hall of fame.

Van Halen made a “jump” into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on Monday along with Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five, R.E.M., the Ronettes and Patti Smith.

Its also nice to see Grandmaster Flash in the mix up.

Van Halen was the 1980s hard rock quartet led by guitarist Eddie Van Halen, outrageous lead vocalist David Lee Roth, and later rocker Sammy Hagar, that put out hits such as “Jump” and “Dreams.”

Jesus Christ. That’s just what I wanted to hear. Fuck. The real problem here is that some dumbass decided it would be a great idea to induct FOUR artists or groups into the Hall of Fame EVERY SINGLE YEAR. The fact that Van Halen is getting inducted just goes to prove that being in the hall of fame doesn’t mean shit anymore. Elvis Prestly and Keith Richards are rolling over in their graves right now. I bet next year it will be Wham, the Damn Yankees, Burl Ives, and that guy playing the guitar in this Snickers commercial:

Because every other musical artist EVER is already in the Hall of Fame.
