The Marketer in Me

carvertising.jpgCheck out this ad on the left by clicking on it. I get a kick out of the airbag bit, I could care less about the zipper part. Seems fitting. Drive a Porsche and American women flock to you, tells a lot about the culture doesn’t it.

Here is a collection of pretty cool ads. Maybe you don’t think any ads are cool, and on some level I can agree. In a consumer culture era where ads are so pervasive that we cannot escape them, why would I draw attention to more ads? Well, some of these are pretty cool and if I would have thought of them, I could be wealthier than I am today. Heck, I could even quit this bagaki.com gig. So without further adieu, here are the ads. One I find to be pretty ingenious is the Papa Johns ad, such a simple idea, why the heck didn’t I come up with it.

I think that the general male population would enjoy airbags such as these, but the only problem would be the number on accidents may increase with people wanting to see the airbag go off!!

Also I was bored at work and was looking up Bugatti on Wikipedia and found that their Veyron 16.4 has 1001 hp and does 253 MPH!!!! It can only deliver this for 2 minutes and gets 3 MPG!! But still 253 MPH!!

i wonder why only 2 minutes. does it have to do with stability or does the sucker run out of gas.
