WEBSITE UPGRADES - BAGAKIRADIO OFFLINE FOR A FEW DAYS

Posted August 30th @ 12:46 am by Gurt T. Luhrman

There are really no upgrades, we just wanted to soften the blow for all of our loyal listeners. I have taken bagakiRADIO off the web to perform system maintenance. One of our backup drives is acting goofy and we need to run some diagnostics on the drive. Until we are back online, please enjoy some online music from SomaFM. (One of the best online music stations out there)

Thank Goodness For The Future

Posted August 28th @ 12:22 pm by Gurt T. Luhrman

drbrown.jpgWe can never be too thankful for technology these days. Remember that documentary back in the mid 1980’s, “Back To The Future”, this is the ultimate testament to my point. How else could we be able to sleep at night without knowing that Chuck Berry learned Johnny B. Goode from himself, vicariously through a white kid named Marty McFly. Thank you Dr Brown, you have forever changed the world. With your zany adventures into the future and the past, we have been able to see what the world was like before many of us were born, and witness many of our deaths.

i needed just one more post to move the really long stupid post to another page and free up some space for good posts like this one

I Think I’nm Drunk

Posted August 23rd @ 2:00 am by Gurt T. Luhrman

i think this man is related to john ritterYes, I have been downing brandy and coke for a few hours now and it seems as though I am drunk. While many of my motor functions are still in tacked, I am starting to feel a numbing in my face and teeth. There is a slight “loose” feeling within my head, and I am becoming ever so increasingly sleepy. My grammar sucks, please understand that this is NOT the sauce. Anyway, I will be on a mini-vacation for the next few days, I’m taking the helicopter down to a friend’s house in southern Minnesota. I hope to return refreshed and sporting some photos of the journey. Have a great Tuesday and Wednesday, I leave you with this….

the rise and fall of the bagaki.com blog

Posted August 20th @ 9:55 am by Gurt T. Luhrman

After a small hiatus away from the blog, I would like to announce my triumphant return. I apologize to my loyal readers, all six of you, for my unannounced absence. There were some small altercations between myself, the US Embassy, and some Russian KGB operatives. Needless to say, I am now out of their custody and back on American soil.

Things are moving forward for the launch of bagaki.com on the 10th of October. Filming of the claymation is still underway and the website design is coming along well. I will be finishing the final layout later this week, and will be prepping that for the launch. I look forward to see you all via my multi-dimensional transport method. Good Day

10.10.2005 - bagaki.com website launch

Posted August 15th @ 1:44 am by Gurt T. Luhrman

I have been working hard again today on part of the launch for the new bagaki.com. I would like to invite everyone to take a day of rest on Monday, October 10, 2005. This is not only Columbus Day, it is also Thanksgiving Day… in Canada….. and world wide it is the 5th birthday of bagaki.com.

Things are starting to get interesting, and I hope all are pleased with what the 10th will bring. Have a wonderful week and if anyone would like to help plan events for the celebration I am more than happy to hear from you.

Man on the Silver Mountain

Posted August 13th @ 10:09 am by Gurt T. Luhrman

The previous post entitled “The Man With The Golden Gunt” reminded me of a song by Rainbow

I’m a wheel, I’m a wheel I can roll, I can feel
You can’t stop me turning
Cause I’m the sun, I’m the sun I can move, I can run
But you’ll never stop me burning

Come down with fire lift my spirit higher
Someone’s screaming my name
Come and make me holy again

I’m the man on the silver mountain
I’m the man on the silver mountain

I’m the day, I’m the day I can show you the way
And look, I’m right beside you
I’m the night, I’m the night
I’m the dark and the light
With eyes that see inside you

Come down with fire lift my spirit higher
Someone’s screaming my name
Come and make me holy again

I’m the man on the silver mountain
I’m the man on the silver mountain

Come down with fire
And lift my spirit higher
Someone’s screaming my name
Come and make me holy again

I’m the man on the silver mountain
I’m the man on the silver mountain

Well, I can help you, you know I can

I’m the man on the silver mountain
I’m the man on the silver mountain

Just look at me and listen
I’m the man, the man, give you my hand
I’m the man on the silver mountain

Come down with fire
And lift your spirit higher
I’m the man on the mountain
The man on the silver mountain
I’m the night, the light
The black and the white
The man on the silver mountain

Man With The Golden Gunt

I was digging through my bookmarks and ran across the website for a group call NoDoctors. I have yet to listen to any of their music, due to the dialup I am posting this from. As soon as I get to a broadband connection I am going to give them a listen.

Anyway, they are a group located out in San Francisco, CA. One of the members is a brother to a buddy of mine from down by Minneapolis, MN.

Check em out, let me know what you think.

Thank You Mr Z
